This Week at our Church

Today we celebrate a very special feast of the Church: the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and the beginning of the outpouring of the Spirit upon all believers! As we heard from the Book of Acts, a sound came from heaven like the rush of a mighty wind and filled the house where the Apostles were gathered. Tongues as of fire appeared sitting upon each of them, and they were filled with the Holy Spirit and started to speak in different languages.
